Boys Smith Vision Center

In 2003 John Boys Smith, MD, began the process of creating a full-service optical department for his practice in Ellensburg, WA. An architectural firm from Yakima, WA that specializes in hospitals created the construction drawings. The project would add exam lanes, a contact lens lab and offices…plus the new dispensary and lab that would require expansion of the northern end of the existing structure.

Ennco Display was chosen to create the theme for the dispensing and laboratory areas of the new space with the charge of blending all those functions into a comfortable "home-style" waiting area that would be used for browsing, relaxing and educational opportunities by the fireplace. Patrick Boys Smith, the Project Engineer, worked with us tirelessly to ensure that the practice philosophy of patient care was brought into every aspect of the interior design, right down to the last fixture. The result of the collaboration between architect, optical design team and the client is truly a masterpiece in a small town known for it's rodeo.

Ennco provided: Interior Design and finish selections for Reception, Dispensary and Laboratory functions. Construction and installation of all store fixtures/displays.

Display Style: A unique blend of custom fixtures envisioned by the client and engineered by Ennco as well as some standardized showcasing and frame displays to create a special blend of form and function.
